Flickr Photos (Photos tagged with the keyword): relief maps

Materials Needed 2 Parts Salt

1 Part Non-Rising Wheat Flour

1 Part Water

Large Bowl

Spoon

Instructions To create a mixture to build a relief map, first take the salt and the flour and mix them together in a large bowl.

Next add the water to this mixture slowly while stirring.

Keep adding and stirring until it reaches a nice consistency.

You should build your relief map right away using this relief map mixture.

It does not store.

You can add food coloring to the mixture.

Stir it in until it is mixed thoroughly.

Or to add color to your map, simply paint it with poster paints after it has dried.
